About

Rachel Bell

CEO

Rachel’s the longest-standing member of the Shine team, which you’d expect of the company’s founder. She’s a serial entrepreneur, and prides herself on her natural commercial and business understanding; skills she is fast to put into practice for her clients but also part of the reason Shine has been so highly recognised and awarded for outstanding business practice.

Shine’s unrivalled consumer sector client list in the consumer sector reflects Rachel's own vast and broad experience.   She’s worked with some of the world’s most highly regarded brands in FMCG (Heinz, Unilever, Danone); Sport (Puma, Adidas, Slazenger); Travel (Hyatt, Hertz, Qantas); Consumer Tech (Vodafone, Dell, CCA) Entertainment (Paramount, EA, Sony) and Drinks (Budweiser, Stella Artois, Bacardi).

Rachel is the custodian of Shine's values and an enthusiastic motivator of people. Her proudest moment was receiving the No.1 spot for leadership (94%) in the Sunday Times Best Small Companies listing, in which Shine was placed 3rd overall - the highest ever awarded within the industry.

Rachel is involved in a number of charitable activities including the Women in Business Panel, working on behalf of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and is also a long standing board member of the PRCA.

Outside of the office Rachel is never happier than weeding her veg patch listening to her trusty Roberts Radio, tending her tomatoes with husband Pete and kids Izzy, Freddie and Bert close at hand.
