Careers worth talking about.

  • Shine people

We know our people are our biggest asset and we make sure that they know that.

Have you got what it takes?

We think it's vital to ensure our team members feel valued, rewarded, appreciated, developed and have the opportunity to work for some of the most exciting clients around.

Coming in at #1 in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For was very important to us, because it recognises what we've been saying from the start:

Happy staff = brilliant work = happy clients.

We re-invest at least 15% of our annual profit into our award-winning training programme and offer perks packages ranging from gym membership to Aveda vouchers, as well as flexible holiday time.

If you think you've got what it takes to be restlessly brilliant, send us your CV. We're always interested to hear from people who have an interest in what we do and who are ready to contribute to our culture of creative excellence.

    [220x220] Emily Headshot

How’s your first six months been in PR been?

So much fun – I have met some really talented and creative people and learnt so much.

    Why Shine?

Shine has an amazing reputation in the industry, and from working here I can see this is completely justified. The Shine culture is very unique, and the people who work here have made me feel completely at home helping me every step of the way.

What would you say to people thinking about applying?

I think you have to be yourself, be honest and be confident. Shine will take you on your personality and the potential they see in you.

    Highlight so far?

When I found out there was a full time position opening at the end of the grad scheme, and then to be offered the job was an amazing feeling. What is great about Shine is that it's an agency where you really do get as good as your give. If you work hard, then the rewards and opportunities that come your way are amazing.  That and meeting the cast of Geordie Shore was pretty lols.

What are the best bits about working in PR?

The people you meet and the results you see – life is never dull in PR.

    And the worst?

    Fighting off the Prosecco hangovers!

Three words that best describe working at Shine?

    Never ending opportunities.

    Any regrets?
